Ich bin verwirrt. Welcher Umgebungszauber wirkt auf den Geist, mir fälltauch mit etws nachdenken keiner ein. Aber vielleicht ist das ja mein Fehler?

Wenn kein Gas hindurch käme könnte das Opfer auch nicht mehr atmen. Für mich ein Gegenargument. Auch sagt die Beschreibung, dass sich die Kraft des Z auf die Luft um das Opfer überträgt, diese kann sich auch mit einem anderen Gasmischen und dessen Effekte übertragen.

M.E. Nein. Der Zauber schützt nur vor materiellen Waffen (siehe oben) und Er schützt m.E. also nicht gegen Gaszauber. Das würde ich analog auf andere Gase übertragen.

Nein, steht m.E. eindeutig in der Spruchbeschreibung. Es wird keine Ausnahme für magische Waffen erwähnt. Außerdem ist das Opfer sogar immun gegen Umgebungszauber.

Einfache Stadtwachen ermitteln nach meiner Vorstellung nicht. Sie nehmen fest (nach Anklage), schlichten Streit, erheben Zölle am Stadttor und versuchen allgemein die Ordnung aufrecht zu erhalten. Ermittlung im modernen Sinn gibt es nur in wenigen Kulturen. Befragungen führt evtl. ein Offizier der Stadtwache oder eben (sofern vorhanden) ein Ermittler durch. Verbrechen für die es keine Zeugen gibt bleiben meist ungeklärt. Anschuldigungen bei Diebstählen führen am ehesten dazu, dass der Angeklagte bzw. dessen Haus durchsucht wird wenn die Anschuldigung glaubhaft und der Status des Beschuldigten nicht zu hoch ist (im Vergleich zum Ankläger). Wird nichts gefunden bleibt der Diebstahl eben ungeklärt. Die Abenteurer wollen ja auch was zu tun haben.

Dieser Punkt ist für mich aus Deinem Einleitungspost nicht erkennbar gewesen, sofern Du eine ermittelnde Stadtwache (also quasis detektivisch, kriminalistsich) meinst. Sonst weis ich nicht worauf Du hinaus willst.

In den meisten Stadtbeschreibung zu Midgard, die ich kenne, werden Stadtwachen erwähnt (z.B. Corrinis, Cuanscadan, Nihavand). Das sind zumeist mittelgroße bis große Städte. In diesen würde ich dann auch Stadtwachen erwarten. In Dörfern und Klein(st)städten nicht oder nur in besonderen Ausnahmen. Dort rechne ich aber eher damit, dass die Stadtwache in Form der Männer des Herrschers oder als Bürgerwehr auftritt und es jeweils einen Grund für die Ausnahme gibt. Historische Genauigkeit ist in mir an der Stelle auch nicht so wichtig, es muss zur Stimmung passen, die der SL vermittelt.

Ich wünsche mir die Unterscheidung zwischen Zaubern mit im Prinzip gleichemEffekt wieder auf zu heben (z.B. Heilzauber, Angst/Mutlosigkeit etc.). Wenn wirklich Bedarf besteht sollte als Ausgliech die Einsatzbeschränkung (einmal alle drei Tage) der Heilzauber im Gegenzug aufgehoben werden. Alle Zauber sollen wieder in einer alphabetisch sortierten Reihenfolge stehen!

Ich habe dazu keine Statistik Worauf ich hinaus will ist: Wenn der SL die Ewoks so beschreibt, dass sie mir als tollwütige Wookies erscheinen kämpfe ich natürlich um mein Leben. Wenn sie mir erscheinen als seien sie eigentlich keine ernsthafte Bedrohung - mit der ich nicht auch als Gefangener klar kommen könnte - dann lasse ich mich wesentlich eher gefangen nehmen und fesseln.

Diesem Teil möchte ich in seiner Pauschalität widersprechen. Das hängt extrem davon ab wie der Sl (in diesem Beispiel) die Ewoks beschreibt. Ich habe selbst schon mehrfach erlebt, dass solche Situationen ohne Kampf gelöst wurden.
