In dem Zusammenhang fällt mir immer ein alter Witz ein:
Eine Tochter ist acht Jahre alt und hat ihr Leben noch kein Wort gesagt. Eines Tages sitzt sie mit ihren Eltern bei Frühstück und sagt auf einmal: "Die Marmelade ist alle." Die Eltern jubeln: "Du kannst ja sprechen. Warum hast Du bislang nichts gesagt?" Die Tochter antwortet: "Bis jetzt war alles in Ordnung".
